Natural Christmas Tree, Biodegradable Wrapping & Eco-Friendly Gifts

We cannot believe that Christmas and New Year are around the corner! I wanted to share our natural Christmas tree, biodegradable wrapping & eco-friendly gift idea with you today. Firstly, lets start with the eco-friendly gift!

Greenpop has a wonderful eco-friendly gift idea & suggests we gift a tree certificate!

The idea is to purchase a tree certificate. You will then receive a customised digital certificate that features the GPS coordinates of the forest where your tree has been planted.

How one can get started:
1: Choose your tree certificate template.
2: Select how many trees you would like to fund (R120/$8 per tree).

3: Select the forest/site where you would like the trees planted.

4: Personalise your certificate with a special message.
5: Send the certificate to yourself or the recipient.

Done! You have just gifted a gift that will grow for years to come. Therefore, if you are love this eco-friendly gift idea as much as I do then click here and get your tree certificate today!

A gift for nature, a gift for everyone!

Microgarden’s Natural Christmas Tree

Secondly, I would like to show you our natural Christmas Tree – isn’t she just beautiful?

Natural Christmas Tree

Biodegradable Wrapping Paper for Presents

The gifts under Microgarden’s natural Christmas tree this year have been wrapped with reusable hemp fabric from the Hemporium. This hemp fabric is also completely biodegradable. We have added some festive leaves and Christmas characters for decoration as well!

It saddens me to even think about all the plastic wrapping paper, ribbons, stickers and decorations that get thrown away every year!

The worst part is they are often not even recycled. This is an absolutely devastating fact and has lasting negative effects on the environment. So, please do your part in preserving the planet and choosing biodegradable options.

Biodegradable & Sustainable Present Wrapping

Lastly, we are also in the process of planning some yummy vegetarian and vegan dishes to enjoy with family and friends this Christmas. Stay tuned as we will be sharing these recipes in new blog posts early in the new year!

In love and encouragement to be conscious of your waste creation during this festive season. Be a conscious consumer and try your best to use sustainable and biodegradable products.

Wishing everyone a happy holiday!
